#Tiv-2

The TIV-2 (Tornado Intercept Vehicle 2) is a heavily armored storm-chasing vehicle designed to drive directly into the path of a tornado to capture IMAX footage. It was created by filmmaker Sean Casey and featured prominently in the Discovery Channel series Storm Chasers and the documentary film Tornado Alley. The vehicle is equipped with hydraulic spikes and skirts that anchor it to the ground to resist high-velocity winds.
