#Scarlet Spider (marvel)

The Scarlet Spider is a superhero identity in the Marvel Universe, most prominently associated with Ben Reilly and Kaine Parker, both genetic clones of Peter Parker. Created by the Jackal, Ben Reilly debuted as a clone in The Amazing Spider-Man #149 before adopting the Scarlet Spider mantle in Web of Spider-Man #118. While Ben Reilly's classic costume features a red bodysuit with a blue sleeveless hoodie, the identity has also been held by the anti-hero Kaine Parker, who utilizes a red and black suit.
