#Valkyrie (marvel)

Valkyrie is an Asgardian warrior and the leader of the Valkyrior, a group of shield-maidens tasked by Odin with escorting the souls of fallen heroes to Valhalla. The identity has been held by several individuals, most notably the original Valkyrie Brunnhilde and later the mortal Dr. Jane Foster. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Valkyrie is portrayed as a surviving member of her order who eventually rises to become the King of New Asgard.
