The Dilophosaurus in Jurassic Park is a carnivorous theropod dinosaur characterized by its distinctive, expandable neck frill and its ability to spit blinding venom. This genetically engineered creature, depicted as smaller than its real-life counterpart, played a memorable role in the original film. It was one of the first dinosaurs recreated by InGen for the park.
