Vespa is an iconic Italian brand of motor scooters and mopeds, first introduced in 1946 by Piaggio & C. S.p.A. Designed by aeronautical engineer Corradino d'Ascanio, the brand quickly became a symbol of post-war mobility and Italian style. Its distinctive design features a unibody chassis made of pressed steel, enclosing the engine and providing a flat floorboard.
