#Kiryu (Mechagodzilla)

Kiryu (Mechagodzilla) is a highly advanced, bio-mechanical weapon developed by the Japanese government to defend against Godzilla. Constructed around the skeletal remains of the original Godzilla from 1954, it is piloted by a human crew and equipped with an array of powerful weaponry. Kiryu made its debut in the 2002 film *Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla* and returned in its direct sequel, *Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.*
