Man-Thing is a swamp-dwelling creature from the Marvel Universe, originally Dr. Theodore Sallis, a biochemist transformed by a failed Super-Soldier Serum and the mystical energies of the Florida Everglades. He is a largely mindless being of pure instinct, whose touch burns those who know fear. Man-Thing serves as the guardian of the Nexus of All Realities, a gateway to all dimensions located within his swamp.
