Lamb Chop is an iconic anthropomorphic sheep sock puppet character, originally created and voiced by American ventriloquist and puppeteer Shari Lewis. Known for her distinctive squeaky voice and inquisitive, feisty personality, Lamb Chop often embodies the traits of a six-year-old girl. She first gained widespread recognition after her debut on the television program Captain Kangaroo in March 1956.
