Doctor Otto Octavius, also known as Doc Ock, is a brilliant but megalomaniacal scientist and a prominent supervillain in the Marvel Universe. He is primarily known as one of Spider-Man's most enduring adversaries. His transformation occurred after a laboratory accident fused four mechanical, tentacle-like arms to his body, which he can control mentally.
