#Astarion

Astarion is a High Elf Rogue and a vampire spawn from Baldur's Gate, who serves as an Origin character and recruitable companion in the video game *Baldur's Gate 3*. Enslaved for centuries by the sadistic vampire lord Cazador Szarr, he gains a measure of freedom after being abducted by mind flayers and infected with a parasite, which allows him to walk in sunlight. His personal quest often involves confronting his past and seeking revenge or a new path for his existence.
