#Superman (Clark Kent)

Superman, whose alter egos are Clark Kent and Kal-El, is a foundational superhero created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, making his debut in Action Comics #1 in 1938. He is the sole survivor of the doomed planet Krypton, raised on Earth in Smallville, Kansas. As an adult, he uses his extraordinary powers to protect humanity while maintaining a civilian identity as a reporter for the Daily Planet in Metropolis.
