#Hello Kitty (Classic)
Hello Kitty (full name Kitty White) is a fictional character created by Yuko Shimizu for the Japanese company Sanrio in 1974, first appearing on a vinyl coin purse in 1975. She is depicted as a bright and kind-hearted girl, a gijinka (personification) of a Japanese Bobtail cat. Hello Kitty is known for her signature red bow on her left ear and her lack of a visible mouth, which Sanrio states allows people to project their own feelings onto her.
