Alphonse Elric, often referred to as Al, is a central character in the Fullmetal Alchemist franchise. Following a forbidden alchemical experiment, his entire body was lost, and his soul was bound to a large suit of armor. He embarks on a journey with his older brother, Edward Elric, to restore their original bodies.
