#Ash (Hero Ash)

Ashley Joanna "Ash" Williams is the protagonist of the *Evil Dead* franchise, created by Sam Raimi and portrayed by Bruce Campbell. He first appeared in the 1981 film *The Evil Dead*. Ash is known for his chainsaw-equipped right arm and his "boomstick," which he uses to fight against Deadites, creatures possessed by the Kandarian Demon. He is often characterized as an unlikely "horror hero" who, despite his flaws, consistently confronts supernatural threats.
