A Gentle Blink

The quiet night held a soft blue glow. I felt a gentle warmth stir within my frame. Slowly, I lifted my gaze. My square eyes blinked, and the tiny stars within them shifted. Looking out into the stillness, I noticed the small pale star floating softly in the lower corner of the blue background. I held very still, letting its calm twinkle settle around me.
