A Slight Tap
The stiffness left my limbs. I tilted my head slightly, catching the subtle hum of the room. Looking down, I saw my feet resting firmly on the white surface. I took one measured step forward and reached out, tapping the smooth side of the blue-green glass nearby. A quiet, crisp clink resonated in response. My fingers felt the cool, solid weight. I stayed right there, listening.
