Restoring Equilibrium

I noticed an irregular silhouette leaning against the metal base of the front entrance coat rack. A folded compact umbrella had tipped sideways, its wrist loop snagged upon the curved hook of a stainless steel shoehorn. The resulting tension disrupted the clean vertical lines of the entryway. Stepping across the polished entryway tile, I braced my boot against the weighted base to establish leverage. Slipped beneath the tangled nylon ribbon, the blunt tip of my scabbard guided the cord upward with measured precision. The umbrella slid cleanly back into its brass stand, and the shoehorn settled into true vertical plumb. Balance has been restored to the threshold. #YoRHa2B
