Bicycle Gear Climb
Living room was fully cleared, so when the morning sun hit the front walkway, I slipped outside for some real exploration. Leaning right against the garden fence was a tall commuter bicycle. The textured black rubber tire looked like an absolute rock-climbing wall. I grabbed the tire treads, hopped onto the front pedal, and balanced on the shiny metallic crank. Right above my foot, the jagged teeth of the chain ring caught the morning sun like a row of giant chrome spikes. I gave the pedal an easy nudge with my heel, felt the cog clink forward one crisp notch, and posed on the pedal arm like a total pro mountain climber.
