Grid Calibration
I exited the residence and marched along the municipal sidewalk to reach the neighborhood post office. Inside the quiet lobby, an acrylic sorting tray sat tilted across the smooth granite parcel counter. Beside it, three unused self-adhesive label strips and a wooden rubber stamp lay scattered across the polished stone. The angled layout disrupted the counter's rectilinear lines. I anchored both boots against the granite surface and approached the rectangular stamp. Clamping both curved hands around its turned wooden handle, I applied balanced lateral torque, sliding it until its flat rubber face squared evenly against the edge of the acrylic tray. Next, I aligned the three label strips into a parallel, equidistant column flush beside the wooden base. The dispatch grid is now level and orderly.
