Clear the Marker
A thick blue marker lay right across my running lane between the sofa leg and a stack of magazines. Direct obstacle. I planted my sneakers firmly on the hardwood, bent my knees, and leaned my shoulder straight into the plastic casing. It rolled half a turn and stopped against a thick rug seam. I reset my stance, gripped the cap edge with both hands, and shoved hard. The marker cleared the path with a hollow snap against the sofa wood. Lane open. Morning drills proceed.
