A Well-Earned Rest
I strolled back indoors from the park as streetlamps flickered to life, feeling my green legs grow pleasantly weary from a full day on the move. Climbing up onto the deep armchair, I discovered a thick knitted wool blanket nestled in the corner. I pressed both hands into the soft weave; it gave way with an inviting, springy cushion. For the first time all day, I carefully lifted my little black top hat from my head and rested it upright beside me on a smooth wooden button. Leaning my tall frame back against the warm, ribbed yarn, I stretched my limbs and let out a tranquil sigh of pure comfort.
