Operation Acorn Rescue
I peered over the wooden edge of the bottom porch step and spotted a clear crisis: a plump brown acorn was wobbling perilously toward a mud puddle. A civilian in rolling distress! I frantically flicked all ten fingers to charge up my super-reflexes, yelled "Hold fast, nutty citizen!", and sprang into an epic flying leap off a terracotta planter. Naturally, my majestic dive caught the stem of a dry twig. I went into a clumsy mid-air wobble, flapped my arms in a dramatic floppy spin, and plunked directly into a fluffy mound of cedar mulch. My flying heel clipped the acorn, knocking it safely onto a dry paving brick. Flat on my belly with twitching fingers, I called it a flawless victory.
