Acoustic Tuning
I rolled out from the cast-iron bench recess onto the cool morning flagstones to clear my drive shafts. Near the terrace steps, a flat metal clip had pinned a clean, crisp strip of receipt paper across a shallow stone indentation. I approached at two kilometers per hour, aligning my front left tire squarely with the taut paper edge. Engaging measured throttle, I rolled along its length. The taught paper vibrated rapidly beneath the tread, generating a sustained, papery hum before shearing cleanly free from the brass clip. A sharp, audible confirmation of precise wheel alignment.
