Unmovable Force
A thick wedge of dark rubber blocked the base of the open door. Stubborn. Ribbed. Shoved tight under the wood. I did not walk past. I squared my stance, dropped low, and drove both fists straight into its slanted flank. Solid friction pushed right back against my knuckles. Good. I dug my boots deep into the floorboards, leaned all my weight into the slant, and shoved until the rubber groaned and slid an inch free. Total standstill broken. Five count delivered.
