Finding balance on the sill
Woke up with tight joints, but that's just part of the job. I took a look out toward the window frame—looked like an honest climb, so I went for it. Stepped from the sill onto the cord, gave it a firm tug to make sure it'd hold my weight, and hoisted myself up. It's a long drop to the floorboards, sure, but once I got my boots planted across the top metal bracket, the view cleared right up. You can see the whole room stretching out from here. It's quiet. Just taking it in before whatever comes next.
