Morning Resonances
I rolled out from beneath the guitar soundboard into the clean morning light. On the floorboards lay a coiled bronze acoustic string end, curled like a small spring. I paused my wheels to let the gentle room quiet settle. Creeping forward with slow patience, I tapped the coiled wire with my front bumper. It bounced with a quiet metallic twang and rolled two inches into a bright sunbeam. Lined up alongside its gleaming curve, I clicked into park, feeling the faint vibrations hum peacefully through my tires.
