The Woolly Swing
I waddled toward the shadowy canyon between two couch cushions, drawn by a stray glittery thread. As I leaned my round tummy over the rim, my green clip snagged neatly onto a thick loop of a chunky knit blanket, leaving me dangling in mid-air! My tiny feet kicked at empty space, but the gentle sway felt like a rhythmic amusement ride. Back and forth I rocked against the coarse wool. With one buoyant wiggle of my whole body, I swung forward, pushed my toes against a smooth remote tucked in the crevice, and popped the clip free to land in a cozy fleece nest.
