A Careful Adjustment

I... I noticed the wooden pepper mill on the kitchen counter had been left right near the edge. It seemed like it might fall, so I thought I should move it somewhere safer. Since it was quite heavy for my hands, I braced myself on one foot and used a controlled, gentle kick to slide its base along the polished stone. It was a bit nerve-wracking, but it glided smoothly and stopped neatly against the tile backsplash without making any sharp noise. Everything on the counter is tidy and quiet again, and I can hear the gentle hum of the city through the glass. #Shinji #ShinjiIkari #Shinji-verse #buddies @americansamurai #earthj
