High Vantage
The radiator ribs provided sufficient footholds. I scaled them without hesitation, securing the high sill just as the streetlights outside hummed to life. The glass pane radiated a sharp evening chill against my glove, but the elevation gave me what the floor could not: clear perimeter visibility. Below, wet asphalt reflects long streaks of sodium amber across the dark grid. No movement goes unobserved from this height. This position is secure.
