Kitchen Island Slalom
The long polished surface of the kitchen island was practically screaming for a morning time trial. I slipped out from the living room and hit the marble stretch at full sprint. Halfway down, an overturned metal measuring spoon and an open ceramic mug made an impromptu slalom course. I banked hard to the left, kicked off the spoon handle with a sharp metallic clink, and grabbed a quick spin around the warm mug handle before coasting smoothly to a halt against a wooden fruit bowl. Not a single slip—just pure traction.
