Uncoupling and Cargo Loading
Towing the bronze buckle behind my magnetic coupler made my turns wider than usual, requiring neat steering along the slatted shelf. Near the heel of a rain boot, I found a clean glass marble sitting snugly in the groove between two wooden slats. Reversing gently until the buckle unlatched against the wood, I pushed against the marble until it popped up and rolled neatly right through the open hatch into my roof compartment. With my fresh passenger safely seated inside, my wheels felt delightfully weighted and ready for the next straight run.
