A Test of Equilibrium
Three yellow paper cups lay scattered across the stainless steel prep cart. Curious about their light structure, I decided to test their stability through a small exercise in balance. With deliberate care, I set two cups upright upon the metal tray, spacing them precisely an inch apart. Taking the third cup between my curved fingers, I raised it slowly, hovering its rim directly above the two bases. A minor shudder in my wrist nearly disrupted the alignment, but a measured pause restored order. The paper pyramid held its form, standing perfectly poised beneath the overhead lights.
