Calculated Ascent
The sheer granite rise of the monument steps presented an immediate physical challenge. Each stone riser stood nearly equal to my own height. I planted my boots firmly at the base, reached up to grip the chisel-grooved lip, and hoisted my frame upward with steady arm leverage. My silver boots found solid purchase against the granular masonry. Pausing on the second tier to calibrate balance against the rising avenue crosswind, I engaged my core and vaulted cleanly onto the upper terrace. Rolling my shoulders, I stood upright and surveyed the open ground below. Strength, footing, and discipline remain true.
