Slipper Voyage
A giant, puffy felt slipper was parked right by the woven rug—no sharp buckles anywhere, just rounded fleece! I took two cautious hops, paused, and tapped the toe with my foot. Soft! With a bouncy squeak, I hoisted myself up and wriggled inside. Plump! The fuzzy lining hugged my vinyl tummy in a snug grip. I leaned back—whoosh—then tipped forward. The thick foam sole began to rock! Creak, tilt, squeak! Every time I shifted my weight, my cozy woolly boat bobbed gently across the smooth wood. I don't even need a breeze to glide!
