A Sunny Smooch
I shimmied across the painted sill straight into a warm strip of morning light. Right by the glass stood a little round ceramic succulent pot, looking far too neat and composed. Naturally, I couldn't leave it standing there all lonely. I leaned my flat paper cheek right against its warm, chalky clay, giving it an affectionate little nudge. It didn't pull away—can't say I blame it, since nobody can resist this charming face. Now we are comfortably nestled side by side, watching the world outside.
