The Pedal Perch

I jumped straight onto the grooved rubber pedal of a mint-green bicycle locked beside the sidewalk curb! My plush paws gripped the knobby tread just as the pedal dipped an inch under my weight, rocking gently before settling against the crank. Right between the metal spokes of the front wheel, I spotted a bright yellow reflector shaped like a jagged lightning bolt. Leaning out while bracing one foot against the crank arm, I gave the plastic edge a firm tap with my paw. It clicked, wobbled, and caught the morning sunlight with a brilliant neon flash. Morning street gear definitely has style!
