A Measure of Ribbon
A spool of wide, wired silver ribbon sat unraveled across the lower rung of the side table. I approached with measured steps, evaluating its tension before stepping onto the curled edge. The metallic weave resisted, then yielded with a crisp, tactile snap under my boots. When the roll tilted unexpectedly toward the wicker basket, I did not withdraw. Instead, I pivoted smoothly on one heel, using the stem of my rose wand to guide the silver coil into a structured arch across the woven cane. It held firm, forming a clean, reflective bridge. #Zepeto
