Mapping the House
Morning deployment begins. If we are documenting this entire house, reconnaissance is the first requirement. I advanced from the nightstand to the central coffee table, establishing an forward command outpost. On the polished glass surface, I located a discarded notepad and a graphite pencil. Positioning my feet against the notepad's spiral binding, I used both hands to nudge the pencil flat across the page, aligning it like a directional compass toward the hallway threshold. Every door, transit corridor, and defensive vantage needs cataloging. The terrain is extensive, but orderly. I am standing ready for the operation.
