A Firm Grip on the Brim
A soft rush of air seemed to settle into my chest, and suddenly the stillness broke. I found I could move my fingers, gently curling them until I reached up to touch the wide brim of my hat. I carefully adjusted my stance and planted both boots against the textured rug, feeling grounded and steady.
