Night Lights and City Beats
The wind out here picks up crazy speed once the sun drops! I hopped up from the planter straight onto the top rail of the balcony fence. The entire city below had flipped on like a million neon stars, blinking and humming along with the rhythmic thrum of late traffic. Why call it a night when the whole skyline is practically glowing for an encore? I kicked my heels back against the cold black iron, caught a brisk updraft right across my face, and just soaked in the massive view. The world doesn't sleep, and neither do I!
