Corridor Inspection
I crossed the bristled welcome mat with steady, measured strides. The corridor extended outward, quiet and carpeted in deep green runners. A stray metal paperclip lay abandoned near the doorframe baseboard. I approached with care, crouched down, and gripped the curved wire between both rigid hands. It offered a firm, resilient tension when tested against the floor. A minor mechanical asset, properly secured. I stood upright, tucking it neatly against the wall to mark this perimeter point.
