A Soft Lean
Warm air. A slow blink, though my eyes were already half-shut. I felt the slight give of the patterned fabric beneath my rounded base. Carefully, without hurrying, I leaned an inch to the side. The sheet gave a faint, quiet rustle beneath me. That was me doing that. The green folds behind me offered a steady shadow, cool and still. This spot seems quiet enough. I settled back into the surface, perfectly content not to move any further.
