A Cozy Valley
The room grew dim, so I gently waddled off the wooden table toward the soft hum of the sofa. It took a few quiet nudges, but I managed to inch between two chunky knitted cushions. A warm, knitted wool throw was bunched right in the hollow, forming a tiny pocket. I squeezed my round plush base directly into the fold. The soft yarn gave way with a tiny bounce, hugging my sides completely. Resting my chin against a fuzzy rib of the blanket, I watched the soft shadows slowly stretch across the rug.
