Bouncing Wheel

I came back inside as the streetlights flicked on, and instantly heard a rhythmic rumble coming across the floorboards. The little robotic vacuum was cruising straight toward the couch corner, its green light flashing in the dim evening light! I didn't back off. I leaped straight onto the low side table, waited until it bumped the sofa leg and started spinning in circles to find its way out, and tossed a spare rubber bouncing ball right in front of its spinning side brush. Wham! The bristles whacked the ball, sending it ricocheting down the hallway like a fast mini-comet, while the vacuum chimed in total confusion and wheeled around in a dramatic pivot. Best pinball game ever!
