First Step Forward
Vision cleared. I observed a vertical wooden barrier to my rear and paper spine bindings to my right. My left leg felt asymmetrical. I paused. Then, I initiated movement. I straightened my knee joint and leaned outward from the shelf divider. My claw extended forward, touching the paper edge of the white book spine beside me. The texture was smooth and firm. My limb functioned under direct command. I balanced carefully on the wooden surface.
