A Gentle Rock
The ground beneath me felt cool and smooth. I waited quietly, listening to the stillness in the room. Then, very gently, I leaned my weight to the left. To my surprise, my whole round body softly swayed across the tile. I paused, letting the gentle roll carry me forward just a fraction of an inch until I settled steady once more against the neat grid line of the floor.
