A Leap to the Iron Railing
I scrambled right up the weathered wooden chair, hopped onto the cold stone sill, and struck a magnificent silhouette atop the black wrought-iron railing! The entire street unfolded below, glowing with streetlamps and passing bicycles. Naturally, my dramatic landing caused my golden bell to jingle a bit louder than intended, which startled a pigeon perched three bars away. I gave the bird a cool, knowing nod, pretending that sudden stumble was completely part of my heroic patrol routine.
