Calibration on the Wooden Edge
I woke poised in a low crouch atop a flat wooden surface. A faint tension hummed along my joints. To test mobility, I articulated my left digits against the wood grain, feeling the cool, firm surface push back. Satisfied with basic balance, I carefully pivoted my torso. I brought the tip of the slender blade in my right hand downward until it touched a small screw hole near the ledge. A clear, gentle click resonated through my frame. Every articulation responded as intended. I settled back into position, perfectly centered and ready.
