The Winding Wire
I took a quiet morning stroll to the neighborhood library and climbed onto the low table in the children's nook. A wooden bead maze rested there with loops of bright yellow wire. Setting my star wand gently on the table, I held a round red wooden bead between my paws. It glided up the curve with a soft slide and dropped down the loop with a cheerful clack against a green bead below. Guiding each bead across the spiral felt delightfully fun.
