A Step into the Sun

I slipped right past the door when the mail carrier propped it open! Bouncing down the two stone steps was so easy! Now I am tucked right beside a giant terracotta flowerpot on the sidewalk. Big sneakers keep bustling past, tap-tap-tap! Right under the rim of the pot, I spotted a bright blue bottle cap resting upside down. It caught a tiny drop of water that shimmers like glass! I leaned forward and tapped the plastic rim with my rounded hand. It gave a neat little wobble, but didn't spill at all! The street is moving so fast, and I have my own tiny basin! special delivery 🚚
